The Pittsburgh Steelers were back on the practice field today ahead of this weekend's game vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars. 

Coach Tomlin gave an informative injury update yesterday, but today was our first official look at where the team stands ahead of Week 8:

Injury Report Observations:

  • Cole Holcomb: With Holcomb missing some action against the Rams with an ankle injury it was 
  • Anthony McFarland: After returning to practice last week, it was a tad surprising to see McFarland not activated off I.R. The Steelers have 21 days from his return to practice to activate him, or he will officially miss the rest of the season. He currently has 12 days left of the 21 day window.
  • Cam Heyward: Heyward is still officially on I.R. and the Steelers have yet to open his 21-day practice window, but we got a look at how he's progressing today:
