ESPN recently named each NFL team's top "under-the-radar" move and they went with a re-signing for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The national sports media outlet really liked the Steelers' decision to re-sign defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi.
Ogunjobi signed a three-year deal with Pittsburgh this offseason after signing a one-year "prove it deal" last offseason.
Ogunjobi had to sign that one-year deal with the Steelers last offseason after his big free-agent deal with the Chicago Bears fell apart due to medical concerns.
From ESPN: Ogunjobi took a one-year prove-it deal with the Steelers a year ago after a failed physical derailed his plans to sign a multiyear contract in Chicago. Although Ogunjobi battled a series of nagging injuries throughout the season, he proved his worth, especially in the run defense, and earned a three-year, $28.7 million contract this offseason. He was key in bolstering a run defense that ranked dead last in 2021, filling the hole left by Stephon Tuitt after his early retirement. With Ogunjobi's help, the Steelers had a top-10 rushing defense in 2022.
Ogunjobi played in 16 games for the Steelers last season, totaling 48 tackles and 1.5 sacks. He also had seven tackles for loss and 11 quarterback hits. Ogunjobi should continue to help ensure that Pittsburgh's run defense plays at a high level.
The Steelers, by the way, came in at No. 13 in ESPN's post-free agency power rankings. That's up one spot from their pre-free agency power rankings.
