The Pittsburgh Steelers addressed their quarterback situation this week by agreeing to a two-year deal with Mitch Trubisky.
Trubisky is expected to start for the Steelers in 2022, leaving Mason Rudolph as the primary backup.
The addition of Trubisky, however, doesn't mean the Steelers are set at quarterback for the foreseeable future.
In fact, Pro Football Focus still has the Steelers taking a quarterback in their latest mock draft.
They have Pittsburgh taking Liberty quarterback Malik Willis with the No. 20 overall pick.
I believe Willis will be the top quarterback picked in this draft, but I just don’t know where. The Steelers' interest in Willis is real, and though they signed Mitchell Trubisky to a two-year deal, I think that only gives them more confidence to attack a Malik Willis pick — whether it’s here at No. 20 or potentially in a big trade-up.
Having Trubisky — whose base salary is that of a backup — in their back pocket simply means other teams can't use QB desperation as leverage.

Pittsburgh has been connected to Willis since the Senior Bowl when Mike Tomlin spent a significant amount of time watching the talented quarterback.
I'm skeptical, though, that Willis will fall to the Steelers at No. 20 after his strong performance at the NFL Scouting Combine earlier this month.
The Carolina Panthers could take Willis as early as No. 6, depending on whether or not they manage to trade for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson.
If Willis falls, I don't think there's any way the Steelers will pass on him. Trubisky is a solid option for 2022 — he's a great bridge quarterback to the next long-term starter in Pittsburgh. The Steelers, however, still need to find that long-term option.
Willis certainly has the upside to be that guy for Pittsburgh.
