The Pittsburgh Steelers are trying to figure out what life after Ben Roethlisberger is going to look like.

Per Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, such life has a shot at looking really, really good.

That's because Florio reported Friday night that Aaron Rodgers has trade deals in place with three different teams. As it turns out, the Steelers are one of said teams.

Details of the deal are unknown. The one thing that is known, however, is the Steelers definitely have the cap space to not only take on Rodgers' 2022 salary, but give him the contract extension and pay raise he reportedly desires. Per Overthecap.com, the Steelers have over $25 million in effective cap space. Rodgers' base salary for 2022 is just under $28 million, but the aforementioned extension would allow the Steelers to spread that money out, if they so desire.

This definitely has a chance to happen. But right now, it's only a chance. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported earlier Friday night that Rodgers is "truly torn" when it comes to deciding where he wants to play in 2022. The Steelers aren't the only team on his list, though. Per Florio, Rodgers has trade deals in place with the Tennessee Titans and the Denver Broncos, as well.

The Steelers have a roster capable of making the playoffs and Rodgers obviously sees that or else they wouldn't be a potential trade partner. He's specifically said he doesn't want to be part of a rebuild, therefore, it makes sense that he'd envision Pittsburgh as an ideal landing spot.

Is this the end of Rodgers in Green Bay? It certainly seems like it.

Stay tuned.
