An abysmal offensive performance, that added injury to insult, yesterday's version of the Pittsburgh Steelers was downright embarrassing

Losing as a three-point favorite by over 20 points (30-6) it's clear that changes need to be on offense.

Well, according to Coach T, that just may happen:

"Hell Yea, We Gotta Make Some Changes"

"Hell yeah, we gotta make some changes, man, coach Tomlin told Mark Kaboly of The Athletic after the game. "That was an ugly product we put out there today and so we're not gonna do the same things and hope for a different outcome. What those changes are, man, we'll put together a plan in preparation this week."

Now, before everyone goes off the rails, I'm going to say what you're thinking. Matt Canada will be gone before next week vs. Baltimore. I would like to think that would happen, but frankly, I'm not sure it's even a possibility.

The Steelers never fire, or hire coaches in season, even if they are quality control coaches, much less coordinators.

But this situation is different. There is no way Coach T, GM Omar Khan, and the Rooney's can sit there and think this is the best version of the offense.

And as Jay Glazer would say in the FOX postgame show, he spoke with Coach Tomlin who also reiterated change, but wouldn't dive into specifics.

So maybe Pittsburgh does go another direction. Typically, where there's smoke there's fire.

And what started as a spark could soon turn into a brushfire that affects everyone's job if this product continues.
