The Pittsburgh Steelers have the No. 20 pick in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, but that could change on draft night according to a recent report from CBS Sports.
Jason La Canfora, who covers the NFL for CBS Sports, reported on Saturday that Pittsburgh is "heavy" in the quarterback market.
The CBS Sports NFL reporter quoted an evaluator as saying "This isn't some bluff. That's not how Kevin (GM Kevin Colbert) operates. I know they like some of these kids. I don't think they jump all the way up for Willis, but they're up to something."
La Canfora thinks that "something" could be trading up to select Cincinnati Bearcats quarterback Desmond Ridder.
"Cincinnati QB Desmond Ridder might be the guy, and perhaps they move up slightly to do it," wrote La Canfora.

Early on in the pre-draft process, the feeling was that Ridder would be selected in the second round.
That is no longer the case.
Ridder could fall to the Steelers at No. 20, but that's far from a certainty. There are several teams picking in front of Pittsburgh that could use a quarterback.
I don't think we'll see any pre-draft movement from the Steelers when it comes to trading up. If it happens, it won't happen until Pittsburgh can see how the draft is going to play out on draft night.
If Ridder goes earlier than expected, we could see the Steelers go a completely different direction, maybe even trading down at that point to land more draft capital.
