Steelers 7-Round 2026 NFL Mock Draft: Pittsburgh replaces recent first-round pick before selecting fast-rising wide receiver
Here is a full, 7-round Steelers mock with all 12 picks and updated needs after NFL free agency.
We have officially reached the homestretch of NFL Draft preparations. In exactly a month, the NFL world will descend on the home of the Pittsburgh Steelers, which should create one of the most memorable draft venues that we have seen since the league started moving the event around.
With two weeks of free agency in the books and the Steelers filling just about every major hole on the roster, I have addressed the team’s biggest remaining needs, including two selections in as many rounds that will be sure to take the offense to the next level.
Steelers 7-Round 2026 NFL Mock Draft
Round 1, pick 21: Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah
Let’s be honest here. Even if Broderick Jones wasn’t dealing with a neck injury that still has him out indefinitely, the 2.5 years before that didn’t resemble the 14th pick in the draft. Jones finally made the switch to LT in 2025, and he was serviceable, but nothing really screamed franchise left tackle.
Barring a huge second half of the season, the Steelers likely would not have picked up the fifth-year option on Jones, and I highly doubt they will now with the neck. Lomu is a true LT without all the kinks in his game that Jones had coming out of UGA. He might not have the same upside, but he and Troy Fautanu can form a duo that lasts a very long time.
Round 2, pick 53: Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama
When the Steelers acquired Michael Pittman Jr. from the Indianapolis Colts, they didn’t just solve the WR No.2 issue, they changed their offensive identity. With Pittman, the Steelers now have a middle of the field player who can run the posts, overs, and digs that dominate Mike McCarthy’s West Coast scheme.
But they don’t really have a third player in the room who speaks that kind of language. With Bernard, you’re getting a physical player at the catch point with route-running savvy and enough juice to make a difference. His sub 4.5 40 in Indianapolis cemented him in that round two range, and could propel him inside the top-50.
Round 3, pick 76: Davison Igbinosun, CB, Ohio State
I know the Steelers finally found their cornerback opposite Joey Porter Jr. after signing Jamel Dean to a three-year deal, but Dean has dealt with some injuries and is towards the end of his prime as a true corner.
Igbinosun has true starter upside; he just needs to get his technique settled. He has length and press man skills, but he gets far too grabby past the legal guarding area. Sitting and learning behind Dean could do wonders for his development.
Round 3, pick 85: Treydan Stukes, DB, Arizona
The Steelers added a pair of safeties via Darnell Savage and the hometown kid Jaquan Brisker, but both are on one-year deals. The Steelers are still searching for their next Minkah Fitzpatrick, and that could very well be Stukes.
He has the skillset and proven positional versatility to play on the roof of the defense, insert as a box player, and man the overhang as a nickel. I would love to see him in Patrick Graham’s scheme.
Round 3, pick 99: Harold Perkins Jr., LB/EDGE, LSU
There was a time when Perkins was being mocked as a potential top-10 pick in way-too-early mock drafts. Some injuries and a bad situation at LSU have since cooled that hype, but he still projects as a plus athlete with the versatility to play off-ball as a stacked backer or provide a pass rush presence as an EDGE. I have no issue taking him at the end of round three.
