After making his return to practice earlier in the week, the Pittsburgh Steelers starting tight end is officially back.
First reported by Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, and confrmed by the team, Pat Freiermuth will make his return for the first time in four weeks, this Sunday against the Cleveland Browns:
Muth Is Back
After the Steelers opened Muth's 21-day practice window on Wednesday, the third-year tight end has made it through the week healthy and is full-go ahead of the Browns game.
It has been a rough season for Freiermuth to this point, seeing as he has dealt with lingering hamstring issues that have forced him to miss five of te team's nine games thus far.
But as Muth said earlier in the week, he and the Steelers training staff took things slow this time, making sure he would be fully ready and able to go down the stretch.
Mission accomplished. Now it's just time to get the results on the field, as no one is happier than Kenny Pickett, seeing as he's getting his security blanket back.
