The Pittsburgh Steelers may have some key positions on their coaching staff to fill soon.

Steelers linebackers coach and senior defensive assistant Brian Flores, who join the team last February, has been granted a second interview for the head coaching position with the Arizona Cardinals.

Flores first sat down with the Cardinals' brass in late January. If he's brought on, Flores would bring three years of experience being a head coach to the table from his days with the Miami Dolphins (2019-2021), compiling a 24-25 record.

Flores joins Cincinnati Bengals offensive and defensive coordinators Brian Callahan and Lou Anarumo, New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka, and Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn as candidates to be given a second look for the Cardinals head coaching vacancy.

Despite not making the playoffs, the Steelers' defense ranked high in several categories with the help of Flores. Whether or not that will get him another head coaching gig remains to be seen.
