Will Dorian Thompson-Robinson Be Capable?

Following the Earth-shattering news that the Browns will be without starting QB Deshaun Watson for the remainder of the season, the onus will be on rookie DTR to step in and guide a Browns team that has one of the best defenses in the league.

DTR played in one game earlier this year, and he looked like a rookie, overwhelmed and rushed in his plan. But he will have a full week of first-team reps under his belt and should be more comfortable this go-round.

That is, until T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith get their hands on him.

3 players to keep an eye on:

WR Diontae Johnson: Johnson is nursing a thumb injury that he suffered in the win over the Packers. Since the job of a WR is to catch the ball with his hands, there is some obvious concern after Johsom missed practice this week. How confident he is in his hands will show early.

QB Kenny Pickett: Pickett has had two weeks to forget as an NFL QB, and Coach Tomlin has admitted that the team needs more from their second-year signal caller. Now three weeks removed from a significant rib injury, I expect Pickett to show why Pittsburgh took him in the first round 18 months ago.

LB Mark Robinson: Robinson is now the next man up after injuries to both Cole Holcomb, and most recently Kwon Alexander. The converted running back is in his second year out of Ole Miss and will need to get up to speed fast, especially against one of the league's better-rushing attacks.
