It looked like the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kenny Pickett were going to lose after another poor offensive performance on Sunday. But then came the jolt they needed:
Well, Pickett gave credit where it was due after the big play:
'Shout Out To Our Trainers'
"It was good. It was good," Pickett told reporters when asked about how his knee held up vs. the Ravens. "Shout out to our trainers. I mean, I've spent a lot of time with Gabe, Andino and Sonia all week just, you know, doing everything I can to make sure I'm as healthy as I can be out there. And those guys took care of me. So, huge appreciation of them and you know, glad this bye week came in a really good time for us to get guys back and also get myself healthy here moving forward."
And to be honest, Pickett looked fine from a mobility standpoint, maneuvering the pocket (oftentimes too early) and even scrambling a few times. So hopefully the worst is behind him, especially with the bye week now here.
Pittsburgh is in about the best spot you can ask for, on top of the division, heading into a bye, and getting ready to get one of their best WRs back in Diontae Johnson, with their QB returning to full health.
So it's now or never for the Steelers' offense, to win, with an even greater spotlight coming on Matt Canada.
