Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin held the usual press conference on Tuesday and addressed the situation regarding Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin.
After addressing the Steelers' win over the Baltimore Ravens as well as the team's preparation for Week 18, Tomlin spoke about Hamlin at length.
"It's a really personal thing for me. Being a Pittsburgher and that young man being a Pittsburgher, I've known that guy probably since he was about 12," the Steelers head coach told reporters. "Just got a lot of respect and love for him as a human being."
"I got a lot of love for that man. We lifted him and that organization up in prayer. I reached out to Sean McDermott to lend whatever assistance I could. I don't have a lot to add other than that," added Tomlin.

On Monday Night Football, Hamlin collapsed on the field moments after colliding with Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins on a routine tackle in the first quarter. Medical staff from both teams tended to the Bills safety, even administering CPR before Hamlin was taken off the field in an ambulance.
On Tuesday morning, the Bills provided an update on Hamlin's status, noting that he is currently sedated and listed in critical condition.
Higgins and countless NFL players as well as every team in the league have shared messages on social media sending thoughts and prayers Hamlin's way.
Monday night’s game was postponed in the wake of Hamlin’s collapse. The NFL has not yet made a decision on if/when the game will be resumed.
