Outside of a big play from Mitch Trubisky to Diontae Johnson, the first half was one to forget for the Steelers vs. the Patriots. 

And following an injury update to one of their best defenders, the second half comeback just got that much harder:

Alex Highsmith Out For Remainder of Patriots Game

A budding star at outside LB, Pittsburgh will surely miss Highmsith in the second half. The Steelers were already struggling to generate pressure with Smitty and Watt going full force, meaning things will get even harder regarding defensive stops and turnovers. 

There is little to no video on the Highsmith injury but it is obviously significant enough if he was ruled out after being taken to the locker room. 

The onus is now on T.J. Watt and rookie edge defender Nick Herbig, as veteran pass rusher Markus Golden was part of the pre-game inactives
