Among all the questions facing the 2025 Pittsburgh Steelers, none are more important than who will be their starting QB

A litany of names has emerged, and on Tuesday, HC Mike Tomlin wouldn't rule out any method of addition, (or subtraction) when it comes to finding his next signal-caller.

One of those names is Aaron Rodgers, who Steelers legend Ben Roethlisberger isn't a big fan of.

Big Ben wants no part of Aaron Rodgers in Pittsburgh

"Listen, Aaron is going to go down as one of the best quarterbacks to every play the game," said Roethlisberger on his Footnahlin podcast. "He is a first ballot Hall of Famer, he is everything you want, but I don't know that he fits here [Pittsburgh] because you saw what happened. I mean Russ can move better than Aaron and Russ couldn't get away from some sacks this year. I think if he came here, he would have to learn a new system again. He wouldn't have anybody to throw the ball to…

"…Is Aaron [even] going to play anymore? I mean there's rumors of him coming to Pittsburgh…Which I don't think it's a good move for the Steelers. I don't think that's what you want. I don't think you want a guy for like a one-year Band-Aid just because if you think that you are just a quarterback away, then you go try and find a quarterback that you think can take you over the top."

Ben's stance stems from some comments from Peter King, who said that he believed the Steelers' best bet at competing in 2025 would be to sign Rodgers over Russell Wilson.

“I think we have seen Russell Wilson hit a wall, said Peter King on Mad Dog Sports Radio. "Whether Mike Tomlin is even thinking about, I'm sure he's not right now, thinking about 2025. They got a playoff game coming up, but if I were the Pittsburgh Steelers, knowing that I've got Cam Heyward, TJ Watt, I've got guys on defense with their expiration dates not long in the future. I would want to come in and try to get a quarterback who can make me competitive with Baltimore and Cincinnati in 2025. That guy to me would be Aaron Rodgers.”
