We are only a few weeks removed from the NFL making an example out of Steelers safety Damontae Kazee

Following a questionable hit on Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr., the league decided to suspend Kazee for the rest of the regular season without pay.

But following the Steelers advancement to the postseason, Kazee is now eligible to return:

Just in Time

Many believed the suspension of Kazee was far too harsh, with many both in the media and those who have played taking Kazee's side after the big hit that cost him three game checks.

One of those players was arguably the greatest football to ever play, Tom Brady.

Brady defended Kazee and blamed the QB for putting the WR in harms way with errant passes, a trend he thinks is taking over the league.

So Pittsburgh gets Kazee back in the fold when they need him most, especially when you consider the recent news surrounding star pass rusher T.J. Watt.

Kazee's pockets may have taken a hit because of the NFL's ruling, but he will be having the least laugh with a playoff check coming in.
