Steelers’ Diontae Johnson points the finger at the defense after Colts loss

No, bad franchises don't only lose games, but they have locker room problems, coaching issues, and tons of drama behind the scenes.
Well, following continued issues on the field, and a strong sense of "I" as opposed to "We" in the locker room, a proud franchise in Pittsburgh is facing some serious issues, with their Pro Bowl WR only adding fuel to the fire:
"Defense is Leaking"
"[The] Defense is leaking; they've got some players down, and it showed on the defense," Johnson told reporters after the Colts game. "Offense, we've just got to capitalize on third downs and just make plays,"
Now, Johnson isn't wrong. The "leaking" is largely due to the Steelers' back seven being ravaged by injuries.
Following Damontae Kazee's ejection and the Minkah Fitzpatrick injury, the Steelers were down to fourth-string safety Trenton Thompson and had to move CB Patrick Peterson to safety just to have a warm body playing the hashes.
And we won't even bring up the deflated LB group that started the season strongly, resembling a group of backers that Pittsburgh has hung their hat on for years.
So Johnson may be right, but he needs to worry about his side of the ball.
I know Kenny Pickett wasn't healthy and hasn't played in back-to-back games, but last time I checked, Johnson plays on the side of the ball that only managed to score 13 points against a Colts team that ranks 30th in total defense.
So how about some accountability for that side of the ball Diontae? Yes he scored a TD, and yes he's a Pro Bowler, but his lack of self-awareness and leadership continue to rear their ugly head when the team needs it least.

Here is what Trubisky had to say about the costly turnover.
