It's finally the week of the NFL Draft

After months of builld up, the Pittsburgh Steelers will be on the clock in a matter of hours.

And if the board falls the way it did in our final mock draft, it will be a haul they are proud of…

Steelers Final 2025 Seven Round Mock Draft

Round 1, 21st Overall: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

The Steelers have no business drafting Will Johnson. Not because he's a bad player, but the exact opposite. His fall from #1 overall prospect a few months ago to the teens in estimated draft positioning is another case of majoring in the minors.

Johnson has some of the cleanest tape in the class, is polished, has size, ball skills, and instincts requisite of a perennial Pro Bowler. With Darius Slay only on a one-year deal at age 34, ending the CB discussion of the future with Johnson and Joey Porter Jr. for the next decade would be too good to pass on for Pittsburgh.

Round 3, 83rd Overall: Kaleb Johnson, RB, Iowa

Kaleb Johnson doesn't do anything spectacular, which is why he's likely to be available on day two and during round three. He didn't run an elite 40-yard dash, and he doesn't have a ton of elusiveness.

But he has a lot of Steelers lead back to him. At over 6-1 and 220 pounds, coming from a run-heavy scheme and with excellent tape and stats, he's a player you hammer defenses with before Jyalen Warren comes in to change the pace.

Round 4, 123rd Overall: Ty Robinson, DT, Nebraska

Ty Robinson put on an absolute show at the NFL Combine. At 6-5 and nearly 300 pounds, he ran a 4.83 40-yard dash, jumped over 33 inches in the vert, and did 28 bench press reps.

Long, explosive, and with interior pass rush presence, the Steelers could do a lot worse at DL in this draft, especially at this point on Saturday.

Round 5, 156th overall: Dont'e Thornton, WR, Tennessee

Thornton is the definition of a workout warrior. When you show up in Indy and run a 4.3 flat at over 6-5 and 205 pounds, you're going to raise some eyebrows. The problem is, the interest that peaks the minds of GMs will likely lead back to the tape, where there simply is not a lot of production.

He runs a limited route tree and is a pure vertical player, but one that's worth a fifth-round pick.

Round 6, 185th Overall: Chase Lundt, OL UConn

Round 7, 229th Overall: Ricky White, WR, UNLV
