The Pittsburgh Steelers see a lot of positions mocked to them in round one of April's draft.

QBs, WRs, and DL tend to dominate that selection.

But in this mock, one of the best pure prospects falls and happily ends up in Pittsburgh…

Steelers Seven Round Mock Draft

Round 1, 21st Overall: Will Campbell, OL LSU

Will Campbell might be the best pure player in this year's NFL Draft. So how does he fall to 21, you ask? Well, he plays OT, has been measured as having less than 33-inch arms, and may be better suited for guard.

That is exactly why he fits the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sure, they HOPE Brdoerick Jones and Troy Fautanu are their tackles of the future. Well, Isaac Seumnalo isn't going to play forever, so Campbell can be his replacement at guard.

And if one of those two tackle prospects struggles, then Campbell can slide to OT and be the starter for a decade-plus.

Round 3, 83rd Overall: Isaiah Bond, WR Texas

There was a time when the former Texas Longhorn was mentioned among the top WR prospects in the class. But after Isaiah Bond struggled with some injuries and didn't run the record-breaking 40-yard dash he said he would, he's started to fall down boards, which would be great for the Steelers.

Round 4, 123rd Overall: Will Howard, QB Ohio State

Will Howard is the Steelers' cup of tea at quarterback. Big, athletic, with a pedigree, he doesn't have elite tools per se, but the Steelers have to take a flyer at QB at some point in the draft, and Will Howard is one to watch, especially if he falls to round four.

Round 5, 156 Overall: Zy Alexander, CB LSU

Alexander has the length, speed, and miror match ability that the Steelers covet out of their draft prospects at CB. If he is anywhere near their fifth-round choice, expect him to be in the Black and Gold.

Round 6, 185th Overall: Jake Briningstool, TE Clemson

Round 7, 229 Overall: Dante Trader Jr., Safety Maryland
