Objective number one for the 2025 Pittsburgh Steelers is figuring out who their starting QB will be.

But a close second is getting more explosive on offense.

And in his latest mock draft for A to Z Sports, Ryan Roberts has the Steelers getting exactly what they're looking for…

Round 1

21. Pittsburgh Steelers: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

This might be the easiest team-prospect pairing in the class so far. The Steelers need to find a weapon at wide receiver to pair with George Pickens. Egbuka’s YAC talents and feel for space make him a tremendous compliment.

Ryan Roberts, A to Z Sports NFL Draft

Not only does Egbuka pair perfectly with George Pickens, but he is a Z WR who not is only capable of doing the dirty work, he runs towards it.

Need a perimeter wall off on a zone run? No problem. Want him to dig out a safety on a power play? He's got it. Ask him to go across the middle and hold on to the ball? Piece of cake.

Egbuka is the perfect addition, and fits the bill with his championship pedigree after winning a national title just days ago at OSU

Round 2

52. Pittsburgh Steelers: DJ Giddens, RB, Kansas State

With Najee Harris, Jaylen Warren and Cordarrlle Patterson all slated to hit free agency in a little over a month, the Steelers could have an entirely new backfield in 2025.

This means turning to a new back in the draft is more likely than not, and selecting a runner with the lead dog capability of Giddens given his size (6-1, 212) burst, and tackle breaking ability seems smart.

Round 3

83. Pittsburgh Steelers: Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss

The Steelers have to address the CB spot opposite of Joey Porter Jr, this offseason. Doing so with a rangy, long, SEC product that has a proven history of finding the ball seems like a good start.
