The Pittsburgh Steelers seemingly dodged a bullet after a scary-looking injury to pass rusher Alex Highsmith in their win over the Washington Commanders

That being said, he was quickly ruled out for this week's massive game against the Baltimore Ravens.

But that news is much more palatable when you see that for the first time since injuring his hamstring, second-year pass rusher Nick Herbig practiced in a full capacity all week.

That and more in the final injury report ahead of Ravens week:

Steelers Week 11 injury Report (Friday)

Observations

  • Van Jefferson: After missing practice on Wednesday with a quad, Jefferson returned on Thursday and Friday is ready for Sunday
  • Najee Harris: Harris also missed practice in the early portion of the week, but as Mike Tomlin said on Tuesday, he was expected to play against the Ravens, which was backed up by two full days of practice on Thursday & Friday
  • Jaylen Warren: A surprise addition to Thursday's injury report, on Friday Warren was a limited participant is questionable for Sunday
  • C.J. Henderson: The former top-10 pick has yet to make his Steelers debut and on Thursday he popped up with a neck injury. Henderson is out for Sunday.
  • Donte Jackson: After not practicing on Wednesday and participating in a limited capacity on Thursday, Jackson wrapped up the week participating in a full capacity and is set for Sunday
  • Nick Herbig: The second-year standout logged three straight full practices and is set to play a pivotal role given the injury to Alex Highsmith
  • Alex Highsmith: As expected, no participation for Highsmith all week as he was already ruled out by HC Mike Tomlin on Tuesday
  • MyCole Pruitt: A knee injury and rest day kept Pruitt out on Wednesday and Thursday, the veteran TE is doubtful for Sunday
