In what was going to be one of the most anticipated Tomlin Tuesdays in recent memory, there was plenty of news to go around in Pittsburgh.

Everyone wanted to get takes and ideas from Mike Tomlin following the Matt Canada news, but nothing would be as important as the injury update.

Here's what we found:

Steelers Week 12 Injury Update

  • Minkah Fitzpatrick: The Pro Bowl safety has missed the last three games with a hamstring injury but wasn't put on the injured reserve, that means Pittsburgh's medical staff obviously believed that he could be back in time for this Sunday's game against the Bengals. Having yet to even practice since the injury, Coach Tomlin added that: "Minkah is working hard to be apart of this week's game plan, with his participation later in the week being pivotal to his availability."
  • Montavius Adams: Pittsburgh's starting nose tackle also hasn't played nor practiced in two weeks. Coach Tomlin added that Adams: "Is also working hard to get back, and will be assessed later in the week."
