Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has been on the road evaluating prospects for the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft, but apparently, he's been looking for more coaching help, as well.
Per The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec, the Steelers head coach swiped former Baltimore Ravens assistant defensive line coach/football analyst Jason Brooks from the AFC North rival on Friday.
Brooks has been with the Ravens since 2021, but held a previous stint from 2009-2012 where he was an offensive coach. He let for the college ranks and transitioned over to the defensive side of the ball in college. He remained on the defensive side of things when returned to the Ravens in 2021, holding assistant defensive line/quality control coaching titles before assuming the football analyst title last year.
Brooks now gets to help Steelers defensive line coach Karl Dunbar coach up the likes of All-Pro Cam Heyward, the recently re-signed Larry Ogunjobi, and more in 2023.
