Quinn Ewers Meets With Steelers Brass again
Can confirm Texas QB Quinn Ewers is having dinner with the Saints on Monday night. He's also meeting with the Jets, Raiders and Steelers today and will also meet with the Dolphins after Pro Day.

Ewers is as polarizing a player as we have in the 2025 NFL Draft. Ahead of the 2024 season, he has his supporters as the best signal caller in the class. A gunslinger with touch, precision, and a live arm, no one questions the tangible traits of Ewers.
But between his injury history and questions about maturity, many no longer view him as a first-round pick, much less the best quarterback in the class.
That may work to the Steelers' advantage, however.
Right now, Ewers is projected to be a day-two pick. And closer to the Steelers' third-rounder than what would have been pick 52 (the second-round pick they traded for Metcalf).
Not to mention, Ewers and the Steelers had a cordial meeting at the NFL Combine…
"No, no they didn't put me on the board," Ewers told Aditi Kinkhabwala of CBS Sports last month. "Really [only] them and one other team that I didn't get on the board [with]. "I think they were just really trying to get to know me. I know they are going to be at the Pro Day for me and I'm sure we'll have conversations after or before then."
And that they did. So it's clear the Steelers are at least a little bit interested in Ewers. Regardless of whether or not Aaron Rodgers, Mason Rudolph, or whoever else starts, drafting Ewers is far from off the table.
Barring an unforeseen trade, the Steelers still don't have their future franchise signal caller, and they won't even if Aaron Rodgers is signed. So, drafting a player in this year's draft shouldn't be ruled out.
And if it's Quinn Ewers, there is a good chance he can develop into their franchise guy.
But if he doesn't, try again next year, in a deeper class.
