Being thrust into a promotion may seem like a good thing for the majority of those in the workforce.

But as we know, Football is anything but normal in terms of day-to-day operations.

So when Pittsburgh Steelers RB Coach Eddie Faulkner was promoted to interim OC following the in-season firing of Matt Canada, he probably felt overwhelmed.

But if he was you couldn't tell, and especially not from his offense. And now that has paid off:

Faulkner Extended

Not only did Faulkner oversee the revival of the Steelers offense when Mason Rudolph was inserted into the starting lineup, but he has been an integral part in the development of one of the league's best RB rooms via thunder and lightning duo Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren.

With the Steelers bringing in new coaches at OC, QB, and WR, there was a thought that guys like Faulkner and Sullivan would be shooed out of town, but its good to see Pittsburgh valued his role and signed im to the contract he earned.
