The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Buffalo Bills by a score of 27-15 on Saturday night.

Not nearly as close as the score lets on, Pittsburgh had their way with Buffalo, even when it was starters vs. starters.

So with that in mind, here are the Steelers experiencing the greatest rise in stock after preseason game two:

Nick Herbig

Now with more sacks than games played, the Steelers' fourth-round rookie edge rusher is showing that he may not only be the steal of the draft, but a diamond that every other team missed when sorting through the rough:

With a strip-sack fumble here, Herbig has been a menace not only In camp but in two preseason games thus far, with three sacks and a turnover to his name. Easily the most impressive rookie on the roster, even Pittsburgh wouldn't have waited until day three of the draft if they knew Herbig would contribute like this.

First Team Offense

Playing much less than the Steelers decision-makers themselves anticipated, the starting offense only played two drives on Saturday, but it was more than enough to show improvements:

Unlike last Friday night, both of these scores came against the Buffalo Bills first-team defense, showing the Steelers, Kenny Pickett, and Matt Canada all are out to prove the doubters wrong in 2023.

Steelers Secondary

Managing not one, not two, but three interceptions on defense, the Steelers secondary showed up tonight, with Elijah Riley, Joey Porter Jr., and Chandon Sullivan all joining the party that was the turnover column against Buffalo:

Like father like son, Peezy Jr. made a statement in his Steelers debut, continuing the successes of training camp and getting his hands on the ball at a high clip. How many he gets in the regular season is yet to be seen, but he and everyone else on this list can go to bed with their heads held high after tonight's victory.
