The Pittsburgh Steelers have to play the cards they have been dealt on the injury front.
Now down two of their three best linebackers, the Steelers are preparing to salvage the unit in whatever way they can.

Pittsburgh Steelers Waive DT Breiden Fehoko
The Steelers waived defensive tackle Breiden Fehoko on Monday.
Fehoko started the season on the team's practice squad, but was promoted to the 53-man roster on Sept. 20.
Fehoko signed with the Steelers as an unrestricted free agent this offseason. He spent the previous three seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers after signing with them as an undrafted free agent following the 2020 NFL Draft. – Teresa Varley, Pittsburgh Steelers
Why Now?
The Steelers will likely be elevating practice squad LB Mykal Walker later in the week ahead of the Browns game.
Pair that with the possibility of Pat Freiermuth coming off injured reserve, and Pittsburgh will need all the roster space they can get.
That leaves Fehoko as the odd man out in this situation. He is an excellent run-stuffing DT, and was a hard player to cut during the roster deadline, and surely once again today. So best to him and his future, as Pittsburgh had to make a corresponding move following recent injuries.
