Part of the reason the Pittsburgh Steelers have received pushback on signing Aaron Rodgers is because of his offseason approach.

Some believe he has one foot out the door, with an eye towards retirement.

Questioning his "buy-in" has been commonplace, but Steelers center Zach Frazier revealed what Rodgers told the team regarding his approach now that he's in the Black and Gold…

Zach Frazier said Aaron Rodgers told the team he's all in from here on

"Yeah, he [Aaron Rodgers] talked today, and like I said earlier, just said he is all in from now on," Steelers center Zach Frazier told Pittsburgh media, via Brian Batko on Twitter-X.

It seems that the "From now on" portion of that statement is drumming up controversy, but I see no reason to be upset. Let's be clear, the workouts that Rodgers missed were 1. voluntary and 2. mean almost nothing.

This is the time of the year where every team is looking like a Super Bowl contender. Every player that had an injury-riddled campaign the year prior is feeling the best he ever felt. The guy who looked a little sloppy or slow is down 10 pounds and looks more explosive than ever. It's what former NFL general manager Michael Lombardi calls lying season

Because it means nothing. To be honest, mandatory minicamp means nothing. People are up in arms that T.J. Watt isn't at the three days of practice, yet they seem to forget that he had the best season of his career the fall after he "held in" all summer in search of a new contract.

Is it good to have everyone gathered togther,? Sure. But it's hard to build chemistry and play the game in a way that matters, when you can't even wear the very pads that you have to in a game. So not only is it lying season, but it's also overreaction season.

When the team comes back from summer break, training camp kicks off. That's when it matters. That's when we make decisions and need to see everyone bought in.

So in reality, Aaron Rodgers is early on being all the way in. Training camp was always the line of demarcation, and Rodgers showed up well before it.
