What to watch for

Former Patriots turned Steelers

Last week it was Jabrill Peppers who signed with Pittsburgh. This week, it was LB Ja’Whaun Bentley. Two players who were surprise releases and offer utility at positions of need in Pittsburgh, it’s safe to assume they will come ready to play against their former team if their name is called.

Steelers run defense

If the Pittsburgh Steelers get run over, around, and through on Sunday the way they have the first two weeks of the season, it’s safe to say they are going to be in for a long year. There is a lot wrong right now. Improper utilization of rookies, Payton Wilson struggles and injuries at all three levels.

It’s time to wash that and get things turned around on Sunday.
