Will The Steelers Offense Show UP?
The struggles on the offensive side of the ball are well-documented at this point. And I know Pittsburgh will be without their number one WR for the next three weeks, but this is a defense that can be exposed, something I discussed with those covering the Raiders.
If Pittsburgh puts up another dud, in primetime, and against one of the league's lesser defenses, I know it's far-fetched for Pittsburgh given their tradition, but it might be time to make a change at offensive coordinator. If not for the sake of the season, but for the sake of Kenny Pickett's future.
3 players to keep an eye on:
WR George Pickens: Pickens had arguably the best game of his young career against the Browns on MNF and he will continue to be the focal point of Pittsburgh's passing attack. He should be expected to have another big game on Sunday.
CB Joey Porter Jr: JPJ saw an increase in snap share in Week 2 and should continue gaining experience as his maturation process develops over his rookie season. Throwing him out there against one of the league's best WRs in Raiders' Davantae Adams may be a little rich, but hopefully, he matches up elsewhere, both early and often.
RB Room: I know this isn't one player, but the level of concern surrounding Najee Harris has reached a boiling point, especially when you hear the comments Coach Tomlin made about Jaylen Warren.
