Don't look now, but the Pittsburgh Steelers have been playing quality football as of late, winning four of their last five games. On New Year's Day, they look to keep their momentum rolling against heated AFC North rival the Baltimore Ravens, but this game has gotten a new twist.
The Steelers and Ravens were originally scheduled for a 4:25 ET start time. However, on Sunday, the NFL announced that it will now be flexed to Sunday Night Football with an 8:20 ET kickoff.
With the current status of each team, this makes a lot of sense.
The Ravens have already clinched a playoff spot at 10-5 but they only trial the Cincinnati Bengals by a game, giving them a shot at winning the AFC North. For the Steelers, their recent turnaround has them just one game out of the final playoff spot in the AFC, so they have plenty to play for.
Pittsburgh and Baltimore rarely disappoint when they lock horns. With playoff implications involved, this one shouldn't either.
