Steelers to sign former Pro Bowl LB Kwon Alexander pending physical

The Pittsburgh Steelers are only three days into training camp, so it's a little presumptuous to assume they know who's going to make their roster.

But there's one position I have been pounding the table for when it comes to adding an extra body.

It seems that following today's news, Pittsburgh also agrees:

Steelers Signing Former Pro Bowl LB Kwon Alexander

Per Brooke Pryor of ESPN, the Pittsburgh Steelers are planning on signing Kwon Alexander pending he passes his physical:

The Steelers remodeled their LB corps this offseason with the signing of Cole Holcomb and Elandon Roberts, but they aren't done yet, as the front office finally makes the move I have been waiting for since March.

There's nothing wrong with Roberts and Holcomb, but the Steelers need at least one player that can confidently cover in sub packages, something that evaded the room prior to this signing.

And despite positive returns from Mark Robinson early in camp, this move proves that teams are always one move away from catching you off guard.
