In case you missed it, the Pittsburgh Steelers faced off against a couple of players that once dawned the black and gold on Sunday.
Wearing Texans red, they put a beatdown on the Steelers during the game.
But they were still seeing red after the game, adding insult to injury on social media:
Kendrick Green & Steven Nelson Clap Back
This came from Kendrick Green's Twitter/X profile postgame and is basically an omen meant to stick it to Pittsburgh.
Now, I'm in no place to judge professional football players, but let's be clear here. Green was downright awful in Pittsburgh. He was a healthy scratch all of last season and was certainly going to be cut before GM Omar Khan worked the phones and somehow found a way to trade Green to the Texans.
The only reason he even played for them on Sunday, was because they were down multiple starters and backups on the offensive line. So good for him, nice win. But him talking after the game is like the ball boy yapping at the opposing HC.
This post came from former Steelers starting CB Steven Nelson, who was released by the team in 2021 when the Steelers couldn't find a dance partner in a trade.
Nelson also had a Tweet/Post that has since been deleted that said: "Send their ass home. I got receipts. They said I wasn't what. Don't sign names, sign dogs."
At least Nelson was a starter before during and after his tenure with the Steelers, not to mention he actually had an impact on the game with an interception off Kenny Pickett.
But hey, when you play for the Texans, regular-season wins are a big deal, so kudos to this duo. They should probably enjoy the win. It's not like their team is known for doing much outside of Sundays in the fall.
Steelers’ preparing to make sweeping change to franchise
Change may be coming according to the head man.
