Pittsburgh has Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool currently holding down the top two charts on the depth chart. Beyond those two, there isn't much depth.
The Steelers could look to the free-agent market to replace Smith-Schuster (there's also the possibility he returns, though I don't expect that to be the case).
But Pittsburgh is one of the best teams in the NFL when it comes to drafting wide receivers. That's why I think they'll target a wide receiver in the early rounds of the draft (Johnson is a free agent after 2022, so it would be a smart choice to take a wide receiver early).
And I think the wide receiver they'll likely target is Western Michigan's Skyy Moore.

There are two reasons I think Moore will be at the top of Pittsburgh's wide receiver target list.
For starters, he's a really good player. Moore is on the smaller side (5-foot-10/185 lbs), but he's an explosive wide receiver who plays extremely tough. Moore isn't a burner, but he has good quickness off the line. He'd be a great fit as a slot receiver.
The other reason I think Moore could be a top target for Pittsburgh is because the Steelers are already showing some heavy interest in the talented wide receiver.
Moore is a Pittsburgh native and he grew up with Mike Tomlin's son.
Everything checks out here. Tough player, runs great routes, relentless work ethic, from Pittsburgh and already has a relationship with Tomlin.
What's not to like?
Moore will probably climb some draft boards this week. He's been viewed as a top-75 player, so the Steelers' best shot at getting him would likely be in the second round with the No. 52 overall pick (I don't think there's any way Moore falls to the third round).
This would be a tremendous addition for the Steelers if they can snag Moore in the second round.
