The Las Vegas Raiders have to get this draft right, and so far, they have interviewed and met with all the right prospects. Well, kind of.

We all know that the Raiders need defense and they didn't get much of that through free agency, so they need to do that through the draft. But there are also some other positions on offense they could use some help with too.

They need help on the offensive line, as we all know. But, they need some depth at the tight end too. They signed Austin Hooper, but before that, their tight end was Jesper Horsted. Had they not signed Hooper, Horsted would have been a guy that started for the Raiders.

Nothing against Horsted, but that is not the guy you want going into the regular season as you're starting tight end. In fact, I think they could have done better as a backup. Last year they had Foster Moreau as a backup, and he was great.

Luckily for the Raiders, this draft is somewhat deep at the tight end. but, we do have an issue. They have yet to have any visits with tight ends, which we can assume that means they aren't showing interest in any, yet.

They should grab one because Austin Hooper hasn't really had a great season since 209, his last season in Atlanta with the Falcons when he was a Pro Bowler. Since then, he hasn't eclipsed 500 receiving yards.

Hooper is about to be 29, and honestly, it doesn't look like he is getting any better. Why not go grab a tight end?

The Raiders also have yet to have a visit with any running backs, but, that one is a bit more valid. They have the best running back from the 2022 season in Josh Jacobs and Zamir White behind him, who has shown promise when he is healthy. They also have Brandon Bolden who knows the offensive system already.
