The Las Vegas Raiders 2023 opponents now have a date and time in which they will meet.

Now that the first two phases of the NFL offseason are over, meaning the free agency and 2023 NFL Draft have passed, the next phase is looking out for the schedule to release, and it's finally here.

We have known for some time now who the Raiders will pay away and at home, but we haven't known the dates, whether they will be primetime games or not, for some time. On Thursday the NFL released the dates.

Here is the full schedule:

  • Week 16: @ Kansas City Chiefs (Monday, Dec. 25, 10:00am PST)

There are a few things that stand out about the Raiders schedule for the 2023 season, and I think a lot of people will notice the same things.

First, surprisingly, the Raiders have six primetime games. For a team that was just bottom seven in the league last year, that is very surprising. But hey, who is going to complain about that. The country will be able to watch the silver and black whereas regular games it's really just local.

The Las Vegas Raiders don't really have any "easy win" games on their schedule. Sure, the Chicago Bears, the worst team in football last year, are on the schedule. But through free agency and the draft they got way better. The other takeaway for me is that the Raiders will play three of their division opponents in five weeks at the end of the season.

This schedule features some difficult matchups, but it's hard to really predict anything because of how different the team is now than it was last year. But, like I said earlier, the NFL is gifting Raiders fans a present by putting a team that was bad on primetime TV as much as they will.
