No one wanted to play there, and when they did, the Black Hole would harass them all game long. But things change, and sadly, now we won't even have baseball in Oakland. There are a ton of other stadiums in the league like that today, too.
Of course, we know that the Kansas City Chiefs, the Green Bay Packers, and some others have one of the toughest places to play. People love the Raiders' new stadium because it looks super cool and hosts Super Bowls and other events. However, when you are in Las Vegas, you will have the effect of having a ton of other fans, and that's what they have experienced in the last few years.
Recently, former Las Vegas Raiders and Oakland Raiders QB Derek Carr went to Instagram to talk about his favorite stadiums he has played in.
"Honestly, Oakland was unreal," Carr answered a question. It was like nothing I had ever experienced. It was crazy. Las Vegas was unbelievable, with a crazy atmosphere. When we score, the music starts playing, everyone starts dancing, we do the kickoff, and there's nothing like it."
Antonio Pierce has since said that they wanted to turn Allegiant Stadium back into their home and make it what it used to be in Oakland. He has said that he wants to make it into a place fans don't want to come to, and that's what they are currently dealing with. Yeah, it's like a nightclub, and all of the celebrities they have are so cool, but there have been way too many times when there were more opposing fans there.
For Pierce, I think he will change it. I think we see a huge difference in 2024.
