The Las Vegas Raiders' bad 2024 season has given them opportunities to allow players to show what they are made of and what they have. In a competitive year, teams wouldn't have had as many opportunities to allow the practice squad players or players off of the street to show out.
The Raiders have endured injury after injury, allowing some of their players further down the roster to play more. One of those guys that we have all grown to love, media and fans, is running back Sincere McCormick, who had been on the practice squad the last few years. He got the call-up when Zamir White and Alexander Mattison got hurt.
McCormick had a few games where he was a huge factor for the Raiders and a running game that was almost non-existent. Against the Kansas City Chiefs, he was great. But against the Atlanta Falcons, he was injured, which seems to be the story of the season for the Raiders.
On Tuesday, he hinted on social media that he would be done for the year. On Wednesday, he was added to IR, along with Maxx Crosby.
With games against the Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints, and the Los Angeles Chargers, it's clear that he will not be back, along with Crosby, who had surgery on Tuesday.
Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers just had the best game of any rookie at his position ever
The Raiders have a special kid.
