Rob Gronkowski takes next step in his career as he joins a notable group of well-known names
He’s back and better than ever!
New England Patriots legend Rob Gronkowski will have an even bigger role for FOX during the 2025 NFL Season.
Gronkowski has been a part-time analyst in the past, but with Hall of Famer Jimmy Johnson retiring at the age of 82, the former tight end will now take his full-time spot. He will join host Curt Menefee, Terry Bradshaw, Michael Strahan, and Howie Long on the panel.
Bradshaw and Long have been on the show since it began in 1993, while Curt Menefee started in 1997 as a sideline reporter before transitioning to play-by-play commentator and then show host. Lastly, Michael Strahan joined in 2008.
As for Gronkowski, he started at FOX in 2019, but stepped away again when he joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to play with Tom Brady for one more season. He then rejoined in 2022 and has remained a part-time contributor. But now, he’s moving up to full-time.
Plus, it seems fitting that he gets to be teammates with Brady once again as the former Patriots quarterback is now a part of the network’s top broadcasting team alongside play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt and sideline reporters Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi.
