The New Orleans Saints are making moves. Not only are they doing some contract work with their players, they are also adding to their front office. Not to mention, a three-time Super Bowl champion is heading to the Saints.
The Saints are hiring former New England Patriots and Las Vegas Raiders executive Dave Ziegler to an advisory role, according to Jonathan Jones.
Ziegler is an experienced, well-respected NFL mind. He spent time with New England during their dynasty run, winning three titles with the organization.
He worked in New England from 2013-21. With the Raiders, Ziegler got a bit of a tough opportunity. The team was not set up to win, and he only got one draft process where he was able to make a first-round and second-round pick.
Ziegler is 46 years old. Expect him to play a role in the draft process for New Orleans over the next couple of months. The addition of Ziegler gives the Saints three members of their front office that have general manager experience.
