The Las Vegas Raiders made a move on Thursday that costed the New Orleans Saints some depth on defense. They pulled linebacker Jaylon Smith off New Orleans' practice squad.

To fill that hole, the Saints signed veteran LB Cory Littleton to their practice squad. Littleton made the Pro Bowl in 2018 when he totaled 125 tackles, four sacks, and three interceptions.

Littleton was one of the most productive off-ball linebackers in the league in 2018 and 2019. The Rams used him to the best of his abilities, and that showed in his numbers.

Since then, his career has seen a bit of a decline as he has gotten older. Littleton played in just six games last year for the Houston Texans.

He will a similar veteran presence that Smith did for the Saints in the depth part of their linebacker room. In case of injuries, Littleton could see some action.

Keep an eye on him for the rest of the season in New Orleans.
