The New Orleans Saints are bringing back an old friend. Tight end Jimmy Graham is signing a one-year deal with New Orleans.
Graham was extremely impressive for the Saints early in his career. From 2010-2014, he totaled 4,752 receiving yards and 51 touchdowns. He was a beloved piece of their offense, and now, he's back in black and gold.
The move, to say the least, is a surprising one by the Saints. Many thought that they were done investing in TE after adding veteran Foster Moreau. Now, it seems like there could be more competition than expected. Taysom Hill and Juwan Johnson have roster spots locked down. Moreau signed a multi-year deal last month.
Accordingly, the Saints may technically carry four tight ends if Graham grabs a roster spot. Regardless, it is pretty cool to see him back in the Saints' camp.
