The Saints waived Kellen Mond on Wednesday, according to Nick Underhill.
They also waived offensive lineman Tommy Kraemer.
The QB position for the Saints looks as follows currently:
- Derek Carr
- Jake Haener
- Spencer Rattler
- Nathan Peterman
Don't expect New Orleans to keep more than three of these between the active roster and practice squad once the seasons begins.
Mond was not expected to be in the long-term plans for the Saints. Regardless, he was not in the building for very long. He will look to be a backup elsewhere.
