In Week 16, the Saints are bringing back the uniform set that fans have clamored for for quite some time.
On Thursday Night Football against the Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans is wearing their color rush uniform and gold helmets.
It's one of the best combos in the NFL. As of late, the Saints have worn their new black helmets with the color rush uniforms. That choice does not make much sense.
The black helmets do not complement the color rush, which are some of the best in the league, nearly as well as the gold ones. In general, the gold helmet is amongst the elite options in the entire league.
The color rush uniform was introduced in 2016, and they've been a fan favorite ever since. The black helmet joined the rotation last year and have only been used with the color rush uniform – for whatever reason.
Regardless, the Saints will dawn one of their best looks for a massive matchup in the NFC playoff race against the Rams in Week 16.
