The San Francisco 49ers are entering the last chance saloon. They face the Chicago Bears on Sunday in desperate need of a win to end a three-game losing streak and revive playoff hopes that are looking increasingly slim.

Having played on the national stage in last week's blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills, the 49ers' efforts to get back on the right track will be seen by a much smaller television audience.

The game will be broadcast on Fox, with Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma on the call.

San Francisco will return to a primetime stage twice more this season. The 49ers face the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night Football next week and face the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football in Week 17.

But those games will feel substantially less significant if they cannot get back to winning ways against the Bears.
