After his huge Week 1, Brandon Aiyuk's impact in the 49ers' 30-23 Week 2 win over the Rams was significantly less spectacular.
Aiyuk was held to three receptions for 43 yards, though that was in large part due to a shoulder injury he suffered on the first series of the game.
The 49ers have a quick turnaround to their Thursday Night Football game with the Giants in Week 3, but head coach Kyle Shanahan did not appear too concerned by Aiyuk ahead of that contest.
Asked in his postgame press conference if the injury could be serious, Shanahan replied: "I wouldn't think so. I mean, I know he was hurting a little bit, but he was able to play through it, so I think I'll be all right."
The 49ers had two injuries in the secondary to corners Deommodore Lenoir and Ambry Thomas, though the former cleared concussion protocol and made the play that essentially served as the dagger with his fourth-quarter interception of Matthew Stafford.
Said Shanahan: "Thomas, he had a knee. He was in and out. After that, [Lenoir] cleared his head injury."

It was far from a perfect display.
