Brock Purdy had already achieved a great deal heading into the 18th start of his young career, and the San Francisco 49ers quarterback added another hugely impressive feat to his resume in their Week 11 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Purdy was outstanding as the Niners held off the Bucs to claim a 27-14 win and improve to 7-3.
He finished 21 of 25 for 333 yards and three touchdowns with zero interceptions.
That faultless display gave Purdy a perfect passer rating of 158.3.
Purdy is only the third 49ers quarterback finish a game with a perfect rating, following in the footsteps of Steve Young and Joe Montana, who each did so during the 1989 season.
Young did so in a 37-20 win over the New England Patriots on October 22 of that campaign, with Montana matching him on November 12 in a 45-3 rout of the Atlanta Falcons.
Purdy has a long way to go before he is mentioned in the same breath as Young and Montana as a player, but he is now keeping company every 49er quarterback wants to have after another superb showing.
