Christian McCaffrey is the reigning Offensive Player of the Year and the focal point of a high-powered attack that came within a few plays of winning the Super Bowl.
But the San Francisco 49ers star surrendered family bragging rights to his younger brother on Saturday.
Rice wide receiver Luke McCaffrey was put through his paces at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis and rose to the occasion.
The younger McCaffrey posted an impressive time in the 40-yard dash, clocking in at 4.47 seconds, trumping his older brother's effort from 2017 by the narrowest of margins. Christian ran the 40 in 4.48 seconds.
Though Luke has a long way to go to match Christian's achievements, he now at least has something he can hold over his brother.
But it's not likely Luke will be rubbing his slightly better time in Christian's face.
"He seems to do just about everything right," Luke said of Christian at his press conference earlier in the week. "If you can't learn something from him, you're off.
"It's awesome to be able to take tips from him, take tips from my dad [Ed] and my older brothers who all kind of have different styles, to be able to blend that together has been such a great gift."
So there likely won't be much bragging. If anything, Christian will probably be celebrating, Luke getting the better of him.

He clearly wasn’t interested.
