Christian McCaffrey's trade to the San Francisco 49ers has been an undoubted success, and the greatest illustration of that came on Sunday with his latest touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals.
McCaffrey scored for the 49ers on their second drive of the Week 8 game, plunging in on an two-yard run to score for the 17th straight game.
That touchdown tied the all-time record for successive games with a score (including postseason) set by Lenny Moore.
It capped an eight-play 75-yard drive for the 49ers, tying a crucial game with the Bengals at 7-7.
McCaffrey has now scored 22 regular-season touchdowns for the 49ers along with three in the postseason.
He can break the all-time record in Week 10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 49ers have a bye in Week 9.
