The San Francisco 49ers haven't had a lot of good news on the injury front this week, but some finally came on Friday as two starters returned to practice.

Linebacker Dre Greenlaw had missed both the Wednesday and Thursday practices this week with hip and ankle issues, while a hip injury kept left guard Aaron Banks out of the Thursday session.

But both were out there for the 49ers' final tune-up ahead of their Week 15 road game with the Arizona Cardinals. The Niners will win the NFC West if they beat the Cardinals.

Greenlaw's return would appear to vindicate the words of defensive coordinator Steve Wilks, who said on Thursday that he expected Greenlaw to play despite his previous absences from practice.

It now appears Greenlaw will be healthy to lineup next to All-Pro Fred Warner, with their abilities in reading the backfield and in pursuit sure to be crucial in keeping Arizona's dual-threat quarterback Kyler Murray in check.

On the other side of the ball, Banks' return means the Niners will likely have their offensive line at full strength, right guard Spencer Burford having returned from a knee injury this week. Burford, though, could lose his starting role to veteran Jon Feliciano, who impressed in the Week 14 win over the Seattle Seahawks in Burford's absence.

Though third-string tight end Ross Dwelley (ankle) and Elijah Mitchell (knee) are likely to be out, the offense has all the players it needs to thrive against the Cardinals, their health on that side of the ball key in a game in which the Niners look set to be without both starting defensive tackles. Arik Armstead (knee, foot) and Javon Hargrave (hamstring) haven't practiced all week.
