Things got very heated at the end of the first half between the 49ers and Giants.
And the unsavoury scenes arguably should have scene one of San Francisco's best players ejected.
All-Pro left tackle Trent Williams quite clearly punched Giants defensive lineman A'Shawn Robinson following some pushing and shoving as the Niners knelt out the first half.
However, Williams was allowed to stay in the game as both and he and Robinson were flagged for offsetting personal fouls.
The 49ers went into the half with a 17-6 lead, but a Williams ejection could have given the Giants' pass rush a route through which to turn the tide.
Needless to say, the Giants will be pretty annoyed the officials did not punish Williams more harshly.
